Position Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Innovation Project Consultant to support warehouse system optimization and operational efficiency initiatives. This role will focus on enhancing WMS/TMS performance, improving warehouse processes, and driving data-driven decision-making across supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
System Management & Optimization
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of WMS and TMS solutions
- Ensure system stability, data integrity, and accurate inventory tracking across operations
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues, inefficiencies, and performance challenges
- Collaborate with IT teams on system updates, patches, and enhancements
- Analyze workflows and recommend system improvements to increase efficiency
Process & Performance Improvement
- Support new warehouse setup, including systems, compliance, and vendor coordination
- Partner with warehouse leadership to optimize receiving, shipping, and inventory processes
- Identify and implement continuous process improvements
- Monitor KPIs and provide data-driven insights to improve performance
- Ensure accurate data capture to enhance supply chain visibility
User Training & Documentation
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Train warehouse staff and cross-functional teams on WMS/TMS best practices
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot system-related issues
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Gather feedback from users and recommend system enhancements
- Communicate project updates and system performance to leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with WMS/TMS systems in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including system troubleshooting and process improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and training skills
- Understanding of compliance standards and system security practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities within WMS/TMS environments
